Having been an educator for 25 years I realize the pivotal role of an educational institution in shaping, moulding and nurturing the minds of young children in today's society.
Keeping the contemporary, national and global context in mind we, at The Good Shepherd School, Solan strive to make the pursuit of excellence a way of life; a habit. Students are given an environment wherein their attributes and strengths can be given a fillip, their creativity developed and spontaneity nurtured and to develop a mind that is curious and inquisitive. We provide a balanced environment, focused on shaping children into leaders of tomorrow who are disciplined.
Keeping our motto 'To serve humanity in all humility’ we place special emphasis on the need to serve others, while actively contributing to the need of the community as a whole, being sensitive towards issues related to others as well as our environment.
We encourage each child to give their very best to grow in confidence where a child can communicate on any platform, where English is a way of life; where every pupil is respected and valued; where the child is given wings to fly and still not forget their roots; where education lasts a lifetime.
